ISTANBUL, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan dismissed Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan with a presidential decree published in Official Gazette on Wednesday.

Erdogan replaced Pekcan with Mehmet Mus, a member of parliament for the ruling Justice and Development Party.

The dismissal came after reports that the trade ministry bought sanitizer supplies from Pekcan's family-owned company.

Meanwhile, Turkish Family, Labor and Social Services Ministry has been split into two separate ministries with another presidential decree.
