Turkish president arrives in Indonesia for state visit

JAKARTA, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on Tuesday evening at Halim Perdanakusuma Military Airport in Jakarta for a state visit from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The Turkish leader, accompanied by his wife Emine Erdogan and several ministers, was welcomed at the airport by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and other officials.

Prabowo is scheduled to meet Erdogan on Wednesday at the presidential palace in Bogor, West Java province, to discuss bilateral cooperation and other key issues.
