RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Vasco da Gama winger Loide Augusto is set to join Turkish side Rizespor on a season-long loan with an option to buy, Brazilian media reported.
The 25-year-old Angola international joined Vasco in February from Alanyaspor but failed to secure a regular place, making 18 appearances without a goal or assist.
His last outing came on August 2 in a 3-2 defeat to Mirassol in Brazil's Serie A.
Augusto, who is a graduate of Sporting Lisbon's youth academy, has been capped six times for Angola's national team, scoring one goal.
Rizespor is currently 16th in the 18-team Turkish Super Lig standings with one point from the first three games of the season.
